Danvers 2 - Saugus 1
The Falcons traveled down route 1 to visit the Sachems under the lights looking to
put together back-to-back wins. The first half was a litte uneven for the Falcons with
both teams dealing with the wind and extremely slick turf. The Sachems would get
the first goal of the game converting a cross into the box with a header that beat
the Falcon’s keeper. The Falcons were unable to gain any momentum in the first 40
minutes, misfiring on several passing attempts. The home side would take 1-0 lead
into the break.

The second half saw the Falcons with much more of the ball with their ability to
control the ball and possession much improved. It would not be until late in the half
that the Falcons would get th equalizer. The teams battled evenly for the remainder
of the game, but it would be the Falcons who would get the much needed 2nd goal.
Junior Caniccy Charles would find the back of the net from in tight battling for a lose
ball along with Drew Godfried.
The Falcons now stand at 4-5-3 and will travel to Masco on Wednesday.
